| HarperCollins Signs Licensing Deal | 21/06/06, 8:56pm EST
| HarperCollins has signed a multi-territory licensing deal with Dreamworks Animation SKG for six upcoming films including Shrek the Third, Bee Movie, the sequel to Madagascar and Kung Fu Panda.
The deal was signed by UK division HarperCollins Children's Books and US division HarperEntertainment. It will see HC publishing movie tie-ins including novelisations, readers, storybooks and board books. The agreement also includes activity books in the UK.
Shrek the Third and Bee Movie movie tie-ins will be published in 2007. Sally Gritten, managing director of HarperCollins Children's Books UK said: "We're so proud to be publishing the books of such a world renowned animation studio; two creative companies bringing great stories to children everywhere." |
