| Shrek the Third May Have Midnight Showing After All | 09/05/07, 8:32pm EST
| Despite earlier reports "Shrek the Third" could have midnight showings the night before the original opening.
Given the recent success of Spider-Man 3 and other such films' midnight showings many of this summers biggest blockbusters had announced that they would follow suit. However, Dreamworks Animation announced recently that its most recent film in the highly successful Shrek series, "Shrek the Third", would not follow this course due to the films younger demographic.
Today though Canmag.com is reporting that theater owners have received the OK to release at 10:00 pm on Thursday the 17th of May rather than the previously scheduled release on the 18th.
