While
talking to Sydney Morning Herald, Jeffrey Katzenberg
spoke about the upcoming sequels of the beloved ogre.
We
didn't have the guts to tell anybody when we started
out, he said. We have
two more chapters to tell. Not unlike Peter Jackson
did with The Lord of the Rings. The difference is they
did have the guts to make all three of them back-to-back-to-back.
He confirmed that work on 'Shrek 3' started nine months
ago while the 'Shrek 4' went under pre-production phase
back in March. 'Shrek 3' slated for Christmas 2006
and 'Shrek 4' in 2009.
