| 'Shrek the Halls' Coming to ABC | 07/11/06, 8:24am EST
| ABC and DreamWorks Animation are partnering up to create a new holiday special featuring the characters of Shrek: 'Shrek the Halls.'
The special is set to debut in December 2007, picking up where 'Shrek the Third' - out in May - leaves off. Mike Meyers, Cameron Diaz, Eddie Murphy, and Antonio Banderas are all set to reprise their roles. Their characters will be inviting home audiences to share in their versions of holiday traditions at the swamp. The special will become one of ABC's many annual holiday programs.
Gary Trousdale of 'Beauty and the Beast' will be directing the special.
Before then, 'Shrek 2' will premiere on ABC on November 24th, 8-10 PM. |
